Crushed Botanicals Apothecary Deodorants are aluminum-free, chemical-free, baking-soda-free, and all natural made with top-quality ingredients such as Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Cruelty-Free Beeswax, Aluminum Free Sodium Bicarbonate, and Arrowroot Powder.
We either use top-quality Therapeutic Grade Essential oils or Phthalate Free Fragrance Oils. Please see the scent descriptions below (AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE). We explain which deodorants are made with pure Essential Oils and which ones are made with Phthalate Free Fragrance Oils.
BENEFITS:* Arrowroot powder is essential for absorbing perspiration. *Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil is a bonus for its antibacterial properties.* Beeswax is known as an anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anti-allergenic, and is a germicidal antioxidant. It moisturizes the skin at the same time protecting you from dangerous environmental factors.
DIRECTIONS: These deodorants can be tricky at first with the application. They do not go on the same as commercial deodorants. They are temperamental but if you follow my directions they go on a lot easier. Don't push up the deodorant where it sticks up too high over the edge of the container. This is where it will crumble and fall.1. Push up the deodorant just over the edge of the container (maybe 2 mm max)2. Hold the deodorant to your armpit for a SLOW 3-5 second count. This lets the natural ingredients soften up to your body temperature for easy application.3. Swipe up ONCE and swipe down ONCE. Walk away after. If you can see any deodorant on your armpit this means you have too much on. I either rub in any excess with my fingertips or gently dab off with a tissue. A little goes a very long way.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: If you are used to using everyday commercial deodorants with harmful chemicals please give this time to take effect. Harmful deodorants especially “antiperspirants” keep toxins in your body. Give your body’s natural oils and healing time to get used to the natural deodorant.
We promise the wait will be worth it! (The time can be anywhere from the 1st week to 1 month).
